Joint Venture

A good friend of ours (Mr. Geoff Iliff) has a great love of Guitars and has been collecting them for many years. He has recently become a Philanthropist, by donating some 130 Luthier Built Guitars to the University of Tasmania, Conservatory of Music.
Although Geoff has acquired many Guitars he had never build one. Until now!

This is the first Guitar built by Mr. Geoff Iliff.

Geoff came to our workshop in Gladstone, and we spent two weeks together making this Guitar. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

It’s a
 medium size Jumbo Guitar,
Neck to Body joint at the 12th Fret.
It has Carbon Fibre reinforced Falcate Bracing
made from laminated King Billy Pine
and is ideally suited to finger picking
