  • Irish Bouzouki History
This instrument (as the name suggests) is a Joint Venture with Geoff Iliff and myself. This is Geoff's first Instrument Build, and its very good'.
Wenge back and sides with a magnificent Sitka spruce soundboard. Perfectly quarter sawn, with lots of medullary rays giving it an almost quilted appearance.
The Bindings, Headstock overlay and bridge are all from Purple Bauhinia (a western Queensland wood very similar in appearance to Cocobolo)
The Bridge is a Pull Through Version, note no bridge pins. New Zealand Abalone Rosette. Gotoh Mini 510 Tuners
The Neck is made from Curly Hard Maple, with Burdekin Plum in the stacked heel and to the back of the headstock.
